Lakeside is an American Funk band known for their Platinum-selling record Fantastic Voyage which was a #1 R&B hit in 1980. The band's success continued as they released nine albums between 1978-1990. Lakeside charted 14 Top 40 Hits with 5 Top 10 Hits. Their remake of the The Beatles' song "I Want To Hold Your Hand" charted #5 on the R&B charts in 1982. The band still continues to create music and perform live to this day.
