LACY J. DALTON
Lacy J. Dalton is a Platinum-selling Country music recording artist and songwriter. Over the years Lacy has charted seven Top 10 Country Music Hits, 18 Top 40 Country Music Hits, and nine Top 40 Country albums. She is best known for her songs “Takin’ It Easy,” “Everybody Makes Mistakes,” “16th Avenue,” and “Hillbilly Girl With The Blues,” among others. Lacy J. Dalton has collaborated with such artists as Hank Williams Jr., Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Charlie Daniels. In 1979, she was recognized as the Top New Female Vocalist of the Year by the Academy Of Country Music. As a tribute to her successful career, Lacy was recently admitted into the North American Country Music Association's International Hall of Fame, and in 2022 she received the Lifetime Career Achievement Award from The Josie Music Awards.
