Gary Morris is an American Country artist and actor. In 1983, Gary Morris achieved significant success when his song "The Wind Beneath My Wings" reached #4 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. In addition to his music career, Morris made a name for himself in the theater world. He played the lead role of Jean Valjean in the original Broadway production of "Les Misérables" in 1987 and is the lead vocalist on the Complete Symphonic Recording (1988). Gary Morris continues a career in both Gospel and Country music.
